The McAdams story began in 2016 with the birth of the idea of a premium pet food that is suitable for dogs and cats with sensitive stomachs, while also caring not only for the health of dogs and cats, but also for the living conditions of other animals.
McAdams was founded by people who love all animals. It is clear that meat is an integral part of the diet of dogs and cats, but the McAdams philosophy is based on the belief that farm animals do not have to live in poor conditions for our pets to live their best lives. For this reason, the company carefully selects its meat suppliers, working only with farms that meet the highest animal welfare standards and raise them in free-range conditions. Most pet food manufacturers do not indicate the farms from which the meat used in their production is obtained, so it is impossible to monitor either the quality of the meat or the farming practices of the farm animals. All the farms that McAdams works with are RSPCA certified, which confirms the highest animal welfare standards. In addition, McAdams donates a portion of the profit from every pack of food sold to the RSPCA to help the organization continue its important work. The RSPCA is the largest animal welfare organization in the UK, whose activities focus on topics such as preventing animal cruelty and saving animals.

Only the highest quality ingredients for pet health
All McAdams foods use only fresh meat from free-range animals that were originally suitable for human consumption ( human grade food ). The main ingredients in McAdams foods are chicken and turkey (but lamb and fish are also available). To ensure excellent nutritional value, whole birds are used in the foods. In addition, all McAdams foods are supplemented with valuable natural supplements to support pet health, including superfoods such as green-lipped mussel, kelp and salmon oil.
Food preparation technology that will be especially appreciated by pets with sensitive stomachs and picky eaters
Most dry foods are cooked quickly using steam, pressure and very high temperatures (called the extrusion method). Many dogs and cats with sensitive stomachs do not tolerate food cooked this way. McAdams food is cooked differently, slowly and gently roasting it in the oven at a low temperature of 40 to 102 degrees Celsius to ensure easy digestibility and high nutritional value.
The special preparation technology also ensures the best taste. Moreover, this is confirmed by dogs and cats themselves - in independent taste tests, more than 80% of dogs and cats chose McAdams food as their first choice!
Zero carbon emissions
Taking care of the sustainability of its products, McAdams also pays attention to reducing the company's carbon footprint. A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions that arise from goods and services during their creation, distribution and use. The company has already achieved its goal of zero carbon emissions, and regularly donates funds to various rainforest restoration projects, as well as paying attention to the fact that food packaging is made from recycled materials.
