Most dry feeds are prepared quickly using steam, pressure and very high temperatures (this is called the extrusion method). Many dogs with sensitive bellies poorly tolerate food prepared in this way. McAdams feed is prepared in a different way, slowly and gently frying it in the oven at low temperatures to ensure the best taste characteristics, as well as that the feed is nutritious and easily digestible.

McAdams uses only the best pieces of fresh salmon fillet that are sourced from farms in Scotland that meet the highest welfare requirements. Salmon is a valuable product in the dog's diet, as it is rich in vitamins A, B and D, and also contains a large amount of Omega-3 fatty acids, which are important for the dog's immune system, coat and skin health, as well as joints. In addition to this, Omega-3 fatty acids have properties that can help reduce inflammatory processes in the body.

Feeding guidelines

A dog's nutritional needs are influenced by the metabolism and activity level of the individual animal. We recommend that you use the recommended amount as a guideline and adjust the meal size depending on the needs of the particular dog. It is desirable to divide the daily dose into two meals.
